Places to stay and eat on Skye.

If you are planning to visit the Isle of Skye to witness the beauty for yourself, then you'll need a place to stay and somewhere to eat. Whether you prefer to be under canvas (here), or something more luxurious, there are plenty of choices.
I've listed some below, just click on red text.

The Stein Inn, Waternish, Isle of Skye. Skye's oldest inn situated on the shores of Loch Bay at the heart of the old fishing village of Stein. Great food, real ale and fantastic views from the lochside beer garden. Probably one of my most favourite pubs in the world and I've been to a few!!

Broadford Hotel
This Hotel is the original home of Drambuie and was established in 1611. Now totally refurbished, this is a luxury four star hotel offering first class food and excellent service.

Bosville Hotel, Portree.
Award winning food, refurbished rooms and superb service situated in the centre of Portree.

Marmalade, Portree.
A beautifully refurbished Georgian house, ideal for families situated in Portree and overlooking the village and the Cuillin mountains.

The Three Chimneys Restaurant and accommodation is perhaps the most famous restaurant in the Highlands and Islands if not in all of Scotland.

The Dunvegan Hotel, Dunvegan, Isle of Skye.A great base for exploring north west Skye and a good pub "The Cellar Bar" with a beer garden looking out over Loch Dunvegan and MacLeods Tables to return to, my local!
